well this is the real problem of this theme,if you set that color too lighter,you lost readability on other elements.
Anyway open the file named colors,go to the section [Colors:Window]
and raise the values of this row
ForegroundNormal=125,125,125
remember that for apply the changes you must remove the cached file of theme,but surely you already know.
Maybe i must choose a gray gradient instead the actual,set to white the colors of fonts
yep sure there is a lot of way to solve the issue,i'll give a look to lancelot.
