In theory we can't make a plasma theme with black panel and white widgets, colors schema just don't support this, anyway with the right gray something can be done. I strongly suggest to use bold fonts for desktop,it increase readability of widgets and tooltip.
This theme was created on kde 4.10,i don't know if works with older versions.
i've been checking out some dark plasma themes and not surprisingly this is the one i like the most. really good idea, light widgets. i have a question though: how can i change the color text in the panel, which bit of the colors file is that exactly? i'd like to make it a little lighter (as i use menubar, this is kinda important...) ta!
well this is the real problem of this theme,if you set that color too lighter, you lost readability on other elements. Anyway open the file named colors,go to the section [Colors:Window] and raise the values of this row ForegroundNormal=125,125,125 remember that for apply the changes you must remove the cached file of theme, but surely you already know.
Maybe i must choose a gray gradient instead the actual, set to white the colors of fonts
thanks a lot for the tip! well it's a pity there's no way to have different foreground color for widgets and panel. Or different widgets for that matter. i know that lancelot menu has its own theme so that can be changed.
ta!
